Since the opening of the new exhibition hall in March 2000, the International Exhibition Centre in Kipsala has become the largest exhibition facility in the Baltic States with indoor space of 17 200 m². The parking area is intended for parking 1,200 motor vehicles.

With the attendance running far over 300,000 annually, there are several tradeshows outstandingly popular among visitors such as MAJA, BALTTOUR, and RIGA FOOD.

Popular entertainers, such as Rednex, Sash, Patricia Kaas, Mumij Trol, Na-Na, Zemfira, Purple Prose, E-tape, Gorky Park, HIM, Guano Apes, Deep Purple, Apocaliptyca, Reamonn, Scorpion, Philip Boa, Roberts Plants, Placebo, Yes, Kristine Orbakaite, Vanesa Mae, Venga Boys, Boney M., Baccara, Ottawan, Gregorians, Nazareth, Chippendales, Lord of the Dance, Def Leppard, Hoakins Kortess, Cardigans, The Saragossa Band and almost all Latvian musician groups have performed onstage in the International Exhibition Centre.

On September 1, 2002, Spilva Ltd broke a new Guinness World Record – making and eating up 3280 kg of salad dressed with mayonnaise. During Londa Hairdressers Festival in 2003 – two Guinness World Records in hair cutting and styling.
